Bosphorus Cruise

On Friday, April 19, 2024, we enjoyed a Bosphorus Cruise and Üsküdar Tour. Our trip began early in the morning on a rainy Istanbul day, accompanied by warm simit and hot tea. While sipping our tea and enjoying simit against the breathtaking Bosphorus view, we took fun photos together.

The students were mesmerized by the unique scenery of the Bosphorus and had the opportunity to practice their Turkish while expressing their excitement to one another.

We would like to thank Üsküdar Municipality, which graciously hosted around forty of our students, and also express our gratitude to the teachers who coordinated this memorable trip.

After work, without resting, I joined the university’s Bosphorus tour. I was really excited about the trip and got ready early. The weather was rainy, but luckily the tour wasn’t canceled—because we had so much fun!

After all the students arrived, we boarded the boat together with our teachers. It was very interesting for me to be among other Turkish passengers. During the cruise, someone gave us information about the Bosphorus. For breakfast, we ate simit and drank tea. We took unforgettable photos.

At the end, something very special happened—I met someone who made my life more beautiful.

I woke up at 8 in the morning, got dressed, and we went to Üsküdar to board a big boat. After we got on the boat, everyone was given tea and simit. Then we went upstairs to take photos and videos. The boat went all the way to Sarıyer and returned to Üsküdar. It was a wonderful day!
