Drama Activity

Through a drama activity, our DİLMER A1 LEVEL students are learning how to form proper sentences while shopping in daily life. They correct their pronunciation mistakes and gain more confidence when making purchases in real-life situations.

In this activity, one student takes on the role of a customer, while another acts as a shopkeeper. The student in the customer role practices asking questions like “How much is it?” and “What’s the price?” to simulate a real shopping experience. Other students in the class watch their peers’ role-play performances with interest. They enjoy the activity, have fun, and learn at the same time.

During this shopping-themed activity, students also learn how to use measurement words such as kilogram and gram, and practice forming sentences using units like bunch, package, and kilo while pronouncing them correctly. This helps them understand how shopping dialogues are conducted in Turkish.
